Luxor Technology Corporation (“Luxor”), a leader in Bitcoin mining software services, today announced that it has completed a SOC 2 Type 2 Audit for its firmware, LuxOS.

In addition to being the only ASIC firmware produced in the US, LuxOS is now the only firmware to have completed a SOC 2 Type 2 audit. As the Bitcoin mining industry matures, miners are required by internal controls, external auditors, and stakeholders to work with more transparent, secure, and compliant counterparties.

The independent SOC 2 examination, conducted by A-LIGN, a leading compliance assessment firm, validates Luxor’s commitment to security practices and controls. The completion of our SOC 2 Type 2 audit demonstrates Luxor’s ability to not only implement critical security policies and controls, but also prove compliance over an extended period of time. The SOC 2 Type 2 audit subjected Luxor to a rigorous evaluation of our security process, so Luxor’s clients can have confidence in the security and operational integrity of Luxor’s Firmware.

This audit comes shortly after Luxor announced the public release of the LuxOS Tuner feature that improves the efficiency of mining equipment and compatibility with the Antminer S21 and T21 models.
